Easy Pesy Pesto

Preparation

  1. Fill a medium to large pot with water and a pinch of salt. Place on stove top on medium heat and wait to boil.
  2. Once the water is boiling, place the penne (or your choose of pasta) in the water and boil for 7-9 minutes.
  3. While the pasta is cooking, in a food processor or blender place the basil, olive oil, parmesan, garlic, and walnuts and blend until well combined, in the texture you want.
  4. Once the pasta is done cooking, place in a bowl and add a spoonful of the pesto on top. Finish with a topping of parmesan cheese on top.
  5. Enjoy!
